Lauren Whitehead joined Germain Dermatology in 2008. As a native of Charleston, SC, her passion for skin care helped the cosmetic division of Germain Dermatology grow exponentially over the last decade. Dedicated to excellence in the delivery of patient care and customer service, she works in conjunction with Dr. Germain to ensure each patient is presented with a customized plan to achieve the best possible results.

Lauren helped Dr. Germain integrate CoolSculpting^® into the practice in 2010. Knowing right away that the science behind CoolSculpting^® was truly revolutionary, they could not wait to provide their patients with a non-invasive fat reduction option.

Creating relationships with her patients is something that Lauren really enjoys about her job, along with the rewarding experience of helping patients realize their body goals.

As the head of Germain’s cosmetic dermatology division (and a certified CoolSculpting^® specialist herself), Lauren and her staff have performed more than 5,000 CoolSculpting^® treatments since the practice first introduced it to South Carolina in 2010. She is an expert at choosing and placing CoolSculpting applicators to enhance each patient’s body shape.
